MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse to join the dedicated team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas!

Salary: $65,540 to $90,320 annually

As a vital part of the healthcare team, you will deliver outstanding patient care, monitor health conditions, and collaborate with physicians to create tailored care plans for patients.

Schedule: Night shifts, Monday through Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments and address any symptoms or concerns.
• Record accurate medical histories and document current health statuses.
• Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, closely monitoring for potential side effects or adverse reactions.
• Work with the medical team to develop and adjust patient care plans as needed.
• Provide wound care, including changing dressings and cleaning wounds.
• Assist medical professionals during various procedures.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning properly.
• Collect specimens for lab testing, including blood and urine samples.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and provide instructions for home care.
• Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, and students to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPR-BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (to be completed within 6 months).
• NRP certification (to be completed within 6 months for C4 and Labor & Delivery).
• PALS or ENPC certification (to be completed within 18 months for Pediatrics).
