OB/GYN Opportunities with UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC 

UNC Health Southeastern, in partnership with UNC Health Medical Group, is actively recruiting a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join our dynamic and growing practice in Lumberton, North Carolina. U.S. News & World Report has named UNC Health Southeastern a 2026 High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care and a Maternity Care Access distinction that recognizes quality care provided to regions that, if not for our award-winning hospital, would be maternity deserts.

Our well-established, compassionate care team includes: 

· 6 board-certified OB/GYN physicians 

· 1 GYN-only physician 

· 6 certified nurse midwives 

· 3 nurse practitioners 

· Supported by a dedicated and experienced clinical and administrative staff.

Practice Highlights 

· Enhanced base salary for rural location plus RVU-based production incentives and quality bonuses

· 4.5-day workweek with an average of 22 patients per day in clinic 

· Call schedule: 1:5 to 1:6 with home call and midwives taking first call 

· Dedicated OR block time and access to da Vinci Xi robotic surgery system 

· EPIC electronic medical record system 

· Medical Student, Resident and APP teaching opportunities available

· CME allowance: 5 days and $3,000

Candidate Requirements 

· MD or DO with eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina 

· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology 

· Excellent clinical and communication skills
