Manager - Staffing, HR

Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehab, is seeking an experienced and organized Manager – Staffing, HR to join our Human Resources Management team. Manager – Staffing, HR Serves as the primary point of contact for offsite staffing vendor, coordinating daily staffing needs, resolving coverage gaps, and ensuring compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) Ensure staffing meets state, federal, and facilityspecific regulatory requirements Coordinate schedule changes, callouts, overtime, agency staffing, and shift coverage Track leaves of absence, and staff availability Communicate schedules clearly with employees, supervisors, and HR leadership Support onboarding by scheduling orientations, training, and inservices Collaborate with HR and Nursing Administration to resolve staffing shortages Assist with preparing new hire documentation and onboarding checklists. Serve as a point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period. Ensure compliance with union agreements Assist with ongoing HR administrative duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree preferred) Minimum 1–2 years of scheduling or HR experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting Knowledge of healthcare staffing ratios and longterm care regulations preferred Proficiency with scheduling systems, HRIS, and Microsoft Office Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends if needed Preferred Experience Experience scheduling in a 24/7 healthcare environment Familiarity with unionized workforce scheduling Understanding of CMS and state staffing standards HR background We Offer Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Supportive healthcare team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care Woodbury Heights is an equal opportunity employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
