Whether working as a Prep Cook, Line Cook, or Dishwasher, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional food while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. You'll work collaboratively with the kitchen team, follow recipes and food safety standards, and help bring Tatte's mission and values to life every day.We are looking for team members who:Enjoy working as part of a team and are always willing to help where needed.Have a passion for cooking, quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.Live Tatte's core values and support our mission.Have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ideally have at least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (Prep Cook and Line Cook).Key ResponsibilitiesPrep CookFollow daily prep lists created by kitchen leadership.Wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients.Label, stock, and organize ingredients and food items.Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate restocking needs.Ensure food is properly stored and cooling temperatures are maintained.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks.Perform other duties as assigned.Line CookExecute cooking techniques under the direction of kitchen leadership.Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and other kitchen equipment.Monitor food and equipment temperatures.Set up and break down workstations for each shift.Wash and sanitize kitchen surfaces, tools, knives, and equipment.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks.Perform other duties as assigned.DishwasherOperate and maintain the dish machine.Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishware, glassware, silverware, and cookware throughout each shift.Keep the dish area and kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary.Follow all sanitation and safety standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications & ExperiencePassion for food, hospitality, and teamwork.Strong communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.At least 1 year of kitchen experience is preferred for Prep Cook and Line Cook positions.Essential Functions / Working ConditionsStrong communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to grasp and reach overhead.Ability to lift, move, and carry 50+ pounds.Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8+ hours per shift.Our Benefits & PerksCompetitive Pay (varies by role and experience) Dishwashers: $18.00–$20.00/hourPrep Cooks: $19.00–$22.00/hourLine Cooks: $19.75–$24.50/hourHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation for full-time team membersPaid sick timeFlexible schedules with no late nights50% meal discount and 2 free beverages per shiftFree mental health supportFree Employee Assistance Program (EAP)An inclusive community that offers potential for growthJoin us on our journey to create something special!Please note that Tatte is an E-Verify employer.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
