Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

 

Location: Frankfort, KY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

 

Compensation:

• W2 Pay Rate: $31.10/hour
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,246.00/week
• Weekly Gross Pay (36 Hours): $2,365.60/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience required
• Active Kentucky RN License or Compact License required at submission
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Must be able to circulate C-sections independently

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN

Unit Details:

• 7 Labor & Delivery beds
• 14 Mother/Baby beds
• Level II NICU / Newborn Nursery
• Patient Ratios:
  • L&D: 2:1
  • Mother/Baby: 6-8:1
  • NICU: 1-4:1 (based on acuity)

Common Procedures:

• Vaginal Deliveries
• Cesarean Sections
• Labor Inductions (Cook Catheter, Cervidil, Oxytocin)
• Fetal Monitoring
• IV Starts and Lab Draws
• Sterile Vaginal Exams
• Epidural Assistance
• Foley Catheter Placement
• IUFD Management

Equipment & EMR:

• Alaris Pumps
• Corometrics 250 Series Fetal Monitors
• Monica Monitors
• Ranger Fluid Warmer
• Meditech Expanse
• Centricity Perinatal (CPN)

Schedule Requirements:

• Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
