Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves working in a 65-bed Emergency Department with rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend. The position requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts; Day Rotate (7 a.m. 7 p.m.), Evening Rotate (11 a.m. 11 p.m.), and Night Rotate (7 p.m. 7 a.m.), when requested. Night position does not rotate.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license; 2 years Emergency Nursing experience; Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). NRP and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are strongly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a pod-based Emergency Department with pediatric and mental health areas.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Emergency Department features assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education skills. The patient ratio is approximately 1:4, serving a broad patient population with around 230 visits per day. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC ASAP. The assignment begins on 09/06/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
