Warehouse WorkerTrillium Staffing is now seeking Warehouse Workers in Bronx, NY!Pay rate is $20.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift premium. Schedule is 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, starting Sunday night. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!A well-established heavy metal parts warehouse and distribution operation in the Bronx is seeking a reliable, team-oriented Warehouse Operator to join their overnight team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position. This is a hands-on, team-oriented environment where employees are valued, safety is taken seriously, and everyone is expected to contribute to keeping the operation running smoothly. You'll work as part of a small, close-knit overnight team, so reliability, a strong work ethic, respect for coworkers, and a willingness to pitch in are essential.Training is thorough and hands-on, with a strong emphasis on learning the job correctly and safely.New hires will:Receive hands-on training on equipment, processes, and daily responsibilitiesEarn the facility's operations and workflowBecome familiar with equipment and safety expectationsHave an opportunity to tour the facility and understand the different functions of the operationReceive guidance and support before being expected to work independentlySafety Is the #1 Priority. Employees are expected to consistently:Complete required daily safety checks/cards for industrial equipmentFollow all facility safety rules and operating proceduresProperly use required PPEOperate equipment safely and responsiblyMaintain a clean and organized work areaImmediately report or address unsafe conditionsResponsibilities: The Warehouse Operator will perform a variety of warehouse and production-support duties, including:Loading and unloading trucksLoading and unloading processing and consolidation machinesOperating a Hi-Lo or forklift based on the needs of the operationMoving heavy materials throughout the facilityPulling skids from processing equipmentBanding and preparing skids for shipmentMoving and staging materialsAssisting coworkers with other warehouse activities as neededPerforming general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe work environmentFollowing established safety procedures and operating guidelinesImportant: This is not a forklift/Hi-Lo-ONLY position. You will not spend the entire shift operating equipment. Equipment operation is an important part of the job, but the role also involves a variety of warehouse duties, material handling, housekeeping, and general facility support.
