Medical Assistant

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a busy healthcare practice in Florham Park, NJ. This role focuses on both clinical and administrative responsibilities, supporting patient care and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a fast-paced medical office environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who is comfortable working both front and back office, assisting providers, and delivering excellent patient care. Hours: Minimum 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday

Location: Florham Park, NJ (Onsite)

Pay: $20-$23/hr based on experience/certifications

Position Type: Contract (minimum 6 weeks, potential for extension or temp-to-perm) What You'll Do

• Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatment procedures
• Take and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper setup for patient visits
• Perform clinical tasks such as blood draws and EKGs
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Ask patients intake questions and document medical information accurately
• Support both front office and back office operations
• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Ability to perform blood draws and EKGs (required)
• Experience working in both front desk and clinical support roles
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical office workflows
• Strong customer service and patient interaction skills
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
