Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30), with one weekend per month required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with all levels of spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders. This position requires working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize specialized equipment, including Hoyer lifts and body weight supported devices.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding discharge plans and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must hold a valid MD Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
