Commercial Electrician

Commercial ElectricianSuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services for our clients. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support tenant improvement projects throughout the Hawaiian Islands. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts and travel assignments between the islands.ResponsibilitiesInstall, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and RomexInstall wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codesPull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipmentBuild, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systemsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctionsPerform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installationCoordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on scheduleMay perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foremanRequirementsMinimum of four years of electrical commercial construction experienceAbility to commute to various jobsitesMust be available to work third shifts or overnight schedules as the regular work scheduleAbility to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairsComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weatherAbout the CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial construction solutions.
