Deloitte Global is looking for a Manager to work in its Global Risk Sensing (GRS) program, helping to lead and participate in a team that analyzes and monitors traditional media and social media to identify trends and developments in potential risks to Deloitte Global, the Deloitte network of member firms, the professions we operate in, and/or our competitors, while applying judgment to identify emerging risks/trends that may also have an impact. GRS also supports the network of Deloitte member firm risk sensing programs by providing leadership and guidance to member firms with new or established risk sensing programs. Specific responsibilities include: Supporting strategy development and priority setting of the GRS program; managing program executionLeading report development and media monitoring, including expectations-setting, supervising, and development/execution of report creation and media monitoringManaging team development, including coaching and managing other team membersLeading processes to identify and share risk sensing leading practices, and promoting the adoption of consistent risk sensing processes, templates, and tools across the Deloitte networkMaintaining and helping to further develop the risk sensing database (Salesforce platform); creating and managing reports in the Salesforce databaseCommunicating and managing relationships with Deloitte Global businesses and enabling areas, and member firm risk representatives Leading various risk sensing-related initiatives and projects to support the growth and evolution of the GRS program The team Global Risk & Brand Protection protects, preserves and enhances the Deloitte brand. We navigate the dynamic risk landscape across the areas of risk management, confidentiality & privacy, cyber security oversight, regulatory, independence & conflicts, and Anti-Corruption/financial crimes. We foster trusting relationships across the Deloitte network through collaboration, facilitation and responsive guidance. Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and essential skills: Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Management Information Systems, International Business, Risk Management, Library Science, Technical Writing, Business Writing, or equivalent business experienceAt least 5 years of experience in a role focused in the following area(s): research, risk management, management or IT consulting, regulatory/public policy, data analytics, tracking and analyzing media, and/or social media trendsQuality-focused and detail-oriented, with robust analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsProven ability to lead, engage, and collaborate with individuals across various disciplines, cultures and backgrounds to achieve shared goalsExcellent relationship building and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to adapt with agility as well as work under tight deadlines with limited resourcesStrong project management and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work productively both independently and/or remotely as well as in a virtual team environmentAbility to think outside the box, identify trends, and build meaningful connections between seemingly disparate subjects as new information is presented in order to address complex risk-related topicsProficient Microsoft Office skills, strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExperience working in a professional services environment (strongly preferred)Experience using a social media listening technologyDatabase experience, incl. use of Salesforce-based database technologyExperience collecting, organizing, and analyzing dataMultilingual abilities Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
