Senior ServiceNow Developer

CGI Federal is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive experience in various modules and services; experience as a ServiceNow Team Lead providing direction and assistance to the development team. This position is located in our Baltimore, MD office with work performed at client site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days/week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide support as a Team Lead and as a ServiceNow Senior Developer.
• Analyze the customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical, management, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
• Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
• Provide support in building prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions of defined requirements.
• Provide support and mentor ServiceNow Developers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's and 7 years of experience, Master's and 5 years of experience or 11+ in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of experience as ServiceNow developer.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Management Platform.
• Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly.
• Experience with the US Federal Government.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
• 8+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR.
• 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
• Experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in developing system architecture, design principles, and impacts.
• 5+ years of experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
• 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Additional ServiceNow CIS certification with preference for the following:
• Certified System Administrator (baseline)
• Certified Application Developer (baseline)
• CIS – Customer Service Management
• CIS – IT Service Management
• CIS – Discovery
• CIS – Service Mapping
• CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management
• CIS – Application Portfolio Management
• CIS – Software Asset Management
• CIS – Hardware Asset Management
• Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP,.NET, or Java.
• Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols.
• Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and External Portals.
• Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP.
• Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR.
• Project Management or Agile certification.
• ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
• Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment.
