Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading civil engineering organization specializing in water infrastructure, is seeking a Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Milton, Delaware

Pay Range: 80-95K

What's the Job?

• Support and manage a variety of water infrastructure projects, including planning, design, permitting, inspection, and construction administration for water treatment, distribution, and storage systems.

• Contribute to sanitary sewer collection and conveyance projects, including planning, design, and permitting for pump stations, collection, conveyance, and treatment facilities.

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, and drainage design, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Engage with regulatory agencies, interpret regulations, and prepare feasibility studies, drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Mentor junior staff, oversee project efforts, and develop new client relationships to foster business growth.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Environmental, or related discipline).

• 4+ years of professional experience in engineering, with a focus on design projects.

• PE license in Delaware and/or Maryland is required.

• Experience with land development and infrastructure improvement projects, especially public works infrastructure and wet utilities, is a plus.

• Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, OpenFlows StormCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, ArcGIS, and HEC-RAS, along with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
