Software engineers are problem solvers. While most have deep expertise in specific areas of the technology stack (front end, back end, data, security etc.), all are comfortable swimming across lanes. As a Senior Manager in Solution Architecture, you will be at the heart of our technology capability, driving the delivery of complex solutions that align with our strategic business objectives. You will manage budgets, oversee project delivery, and ensure performance outcomes while building and maintaining valuable client and commercial relationships. Your key responsibilities In this pivotal role, you will: Lead the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing operational risks. Engage actively in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all project phases. Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements. Solve complex problems using proven methods and evaluative criteria. Influence policy and procedural changes with potential broad business impact. Provide direction and feedback to teams, contributing to performance evaluations and the hiring process. As a Software Architect, you will: Partner with customer technical leads, client executives, sales teams, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud solution implementations – serving as a trusted advisor to decision‑makers while overseeing project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes. Own end-to-end architecture: from business requirements and conceptual design through delivery, production, and evolution. Lead and influence engineering teams without direct authority; providing technical guidance and setting architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails. Strive to be at the forefront of new modern technologies and bring them within the larger team. Ensure the successful engineering delivery of assigned projects with hands‑on involvement as needed. Work with the engineering team to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership and published assets. Skills And Attributes For Success Proven ability to manage and deliver complex solutions. Strong focus on maintaining quality and navigating operational risks. Capability to manage budgets and project delivery effectively. Experience in building and managing client and commercial relationships. Ability to travel as required for client engagements and project needs. To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s degree. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, highly distributed, cloud‑native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including responsibility for architectural decisions, trade‑offs, and outcomes. Strong background in software engineering, with hands‑on experience in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript), and the ability to review, guide, and influence implementation quality. Deep expertise in software architecture and design principles, including microservices, event‑driven systems, serverless, APIs, data architecture, scalability, resiliency, multi‑cloud, and security‑by‑design. Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM‑based business solutions in production environments. Experience using AI‑native tools to accelerate software engineering outcomes. Ability to communicate in written and spoken form with clients about business needs and translate that into a technical solution. High quality organizational and leadership skills. Outstanding consulting, communication, and presentation abilities. Ideally, you’ll also Be passionate about delivering commercial software products and platforms to market. Be deeply technical and constantly in a state of learning. Have the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with a variety of audiences including developers, clients, customers, partners and executives. Be fearless in getting "hands‑on" with technology and execution. Have a strong understanding of modern software engineering processes. Have a deep understanding and interest in cloud and distributed systems architectures. Be comfortable with ambiguity with a drive for clarity. A strong ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and stay ahead of industry trends. Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration and client trust. A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making. Experience in leading diverse teams in dynamic environments. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $151,500 to $346,000. The base salary range for NewYork City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $181,800 to $393,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
