Mill Quality Control
We are currently looking for a Mill Quality Control who reports to the shift Mill Operator and/or Operations Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Taking samples off the screen decks every hour to make sure material is in spec.
- Checking all equipment to ensure it is in good order and operating correctly.
- Reporting any defects or safety issues to Mill Operator, maintenance department or Operations Manager.
- Changing screens when needed to maintain a quality product.
- Greasing screen decks daily and other equipment as needed if a problem arises.
- Assisting maintenance if needed when the plant is down or helping the mill laborer with clean-up while plant is being repaired.
- Following all MSHA regulations and helping maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Work independently with minimum supervision.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Hourly Rate: $19
