Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay: $22-$24/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage the end-to-end customer experience by accurately processing customer data, maintaining strong internal and external relationships, and resolving issues efficiently. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer service tickets, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams messages in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide full-cycle support to customers, sales representatives, and service teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer issues and meet client needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the ERP system
• Act as an account advocate, managing complex inquiries requiring high-touch service
• Proactively communicate updates, delays, and important information to customers
• Investigate and resolve billing concerns (shipment tracking, pricing discrepancies, credit memos, etc.)
• Support order entry, quoting, and follow-up on credit hold orders
• Identify and remove barriers impacting product quality, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction
• Generate and review customer-specific reports for accuracy
• Recommend improvements to enhance the overall customer experience

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience handling inbound phone calls
• Comfortable with computers and learning new systems (including AI-based tools)

Preferred Qualifications

• B2B customer service experience
• Experience in manufacturing, installation, maintenance, or repair environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems (order entry, quoting, returns)
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong time management skills
