Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care
• Ensure competency of clinical staff within the Emergency Department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and triage patients in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge or supervisory experience in an emergency or acute care setting
• Familiarity with resource management and staff delegation in a clinical environment
