Shift: Mid Shift – 3x12s (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks (08/23/2026 – 11/21/2026)

Job Duties
• Perform decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment according to hospital protocols and sterile processing standards.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, inspected, assembled, sterilized, and prepared for patient care use.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and safety standards for all patient populations served.
• Maintain strong attention to detail while prioritizing workflow in a fast-paced sterile processing environment.
• Support inventory management, supply distribution, and equipment readiness throughout the hospital.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to identify issues with instruments, sterilization processes, and equipment handling.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required quarterly competencies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clinical departments to support safe patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• Must hold one of the following certifications:
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
• Certification must be obtained through IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
• Strong knowledge of decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution procedures.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
• Basic computer skills required.
• English proficiency required (speak, read, and write).
