Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.We offer comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision benefits, 401K, a generous PTO program, and the opportunity to join a winning culture recognized for rewarding our best with opportunities to advance their career within the company.Essential Job FunctionsGreet guests in a friendly, courteous and attentive mannerServe food and drinks for guests using suggestive selling techniquesHave a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials.Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests.Prepare garnishments for drinks.Be able to operate the hotel computer system, Micros.Perform opening and closing procedures along with side work as assigned.Follow proper procedure regarding cash handling, following cash bank reconciliation and end of shift drop.Maintain a clean barKnow and comply with food handling and liquor laws.Engage guests in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner.Perform all bar setup and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.Adhere to hotel grooming standards.Assist food and beverage team as situations arise.Resolve guest complains and perform service recover when required (and escalate to immediate supervisor if needed)Experience and Education:Previous experience as a bartender or barbackKnowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktailsKnowledge of applicable laws and regulationsCertifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies ServSafe, TIPS CertificationMinimum High school diploma, GED or equivalentRaines is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
