Provides oversight and general nursing care and services to persons in a facility-based crisis/non-hospital detox setting. All patients are voluntary and perform their own ADL's. No physical or chemical restraints. Average length of stay of patients is 5 -7 days.Why should you apply?Unbeatable company culture Where Human's BloomCompetitive hourly rateShift differential for overnight/weekend hoursSchedule: A variety of shifts available for 24/7 coverageDay shift: 7:00 am-7:00 pmNight Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00amJob ResponsibilitiesUtilize your skills and expertise, current nursing assessment skills and knowledge of nursing principles to assess and monitor clients, participating in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment and responding to crises on a timely basis.Comply with Controlled Substances policy and procedures in maintaining accurate inventories and controlled logs, following appropriate guidelines for investigation of discrepanciesMonitor consumers and taking appropriate action for side effects and adverse reactions to medicationsComplete QA activities as requested and participating in the QA processCommunicate effectively with the teamOur ideal Registered Nurse has excellent listening and communication skills, can pick up on nonverbal communication and is eager to work on nonstandard nursing assignments.Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include:Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing.Must meet the education, experience, licensure/certification requirements specified by the service definition of the service being providedPrefer one year of nursing experience.Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.Some college training and/or management experience helpfulValid drivers license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage.Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.Pre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
