Opportunity RN - ICU Med Surg Job Details Work 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week (3x12) Weekend hours as needed with no call requirements 19-bed unit with average patient ratios of 2-3:1 Float requirements to Med Surg and Telemetry units Must have 2+ years of experience Required certifications: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or Missouri temporary work permit, ACLS, BLS Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card Required skills: Critical Care, Post Stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), BiPAPs, utilizing Airvos, ability to recognize deteriorating patients, ventilated compressors Care for medical, basic cardiac, and neuro patients Use EPIC EMR system Black scrub color required with professional scrub attire (no hoodies) Must be a self-starter with team work focus Medical calculation test preferred Facility This acute care hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric and pediatric services and serves as the only Level III Trauma Center between St. Louis and Jefferson City.
