Senior Closer# Senior CloserHot Job9201 WARD PARKWAY STE 210 - KANSAS CITY, MO 64114## DescriptionThe Senior Closer position is expected to assist in supporting/helping the Closing Department functions/roles as needed. This position will be expected to have a working pipeline and will be expected to close mortgage loans of high quality with minimal errors along with meeting closing dates, following company goals and objectives, and ensuring a positive customer experience.This position will be expected to be an experienced closer with strong working knowledge of agency and investor requirements as well as understanding of specific loan purpose/loan types; mortgage loan regulations and compliance (i.e., TRID, Fair Lending practice, HMDA, ECOA, CFPB regulations, etc.) to ensure Bison State Bank, adheres to all legal standards, internal policies and procedures, state laws, rule, and regulations as required for mortgage loans closings, funding, investor purchase, etc. Additional responsibilities may include file review for audits (internal or external), investor requests, etc.**Job Duties include the following****:*** Completes assigned work timely and of high quality/minimal errors.* Efficiently manages workload independently, meeting closing dates, closing expectations, etc.* Provides excellent customer service both internally and externally.* Support leadership within the Closing and Management teams.* Assist co-workers / pipeline management as needed.* General understanding of each role/function within the Closing (funding, disclosing CDs, etc.)* Knowledgeable of mortgage compliance and/or regulations (i.e., TRID, EOCA, HMDA, Reg B, etc.) to ensure company practices are compliant.* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, etc.* Collaborate and maintain continuous communication with management.**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:*** College diploma preferred, high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.* Job Type: Full-time**Benefits:*** 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insurance* Long Term Disability* Short Term Disability## QualificationsMust have working knowledge and experience in residential mortgage loan closings; overall understanding of agency/investor requirements; compliance including but not limited to CFPB requirements and all other applicable regulations (i.e., ECOA, Reg Z, Reg B, HMDA, Adverse Action, etc.).
