Position Summary Position Summary and apply or screen content not included. Responsibilities Provides member service and maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services. Guides members on self‑service technology, processes purchases, and handles payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Follows company safety standards and conducts safety sweeps, handles merchandise safely, and reports unsafe situations. Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, and advises members on purchasing decisions. Zones, arranges, and organizes merchandise; identifies shrink and damage. Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; executes emergency response procedures; ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Assists with training new associates on processes, new technology, and tool functionality; delivers program rollout training and continuous learning opportunities. Collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements. Complies with company policies, data usage, and standards of ethics and integrity; applies these in all business processes. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may be provided as premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
