Responsibilities

Greet members/guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service.
Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently.
Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle requests promptly.
Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
Support food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness and hygiene protocols in guest areas.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest experiences and smooth table management.

Skills

Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent communication skills, including clear phone communication and active listening.
Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems.
Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and guest billing when necessary.
Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being.
Ability to demonstrate hospitality excellence through guest relations and positive attitude in all interactions.
