Job Summary:
This Telemetry Nurse position is located in the Adult Intermediate Care Unit within a healthcare facility in Alton, Illinois. The role involves providing specialized cardiac monitoring and care for adult patients requiring telemetry services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position offers day shifts, with schedule details including 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week for 3-12s or 48 hours per week for 4-12s.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week for 3-12s or 48 hours per week for 4-12s.
• Required Qualifications: One year of telemetry experience, current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications, Illinois or Missouri license in hand at the time of submittal (or compact license matching permanent residence). No license is required at the time of submittal for Missouri license submissions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias, and experience in adult intermediate care (PCU/Stepdown).
• Additional Information: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system; flu vaccination is required, while COVID-19 vaccination is not required. This position involves working with adult patients with cardiac and neurological conditions, including post-cardiac catheterization and CVA patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and response.
