Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Long Term Care (LTC) ( Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Snyder, TX.

Contract Details

• Days, 8 hr days - 40 hrs guaranteed
  
• Start Date: 6/15/2026
  
• Contract: 13 weeks
  
• Location: Snyder, TX
  
• Hourly Pay: $ 22.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $735.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $1395.50
  
• State License Requirements: Texas/Compact Allowed
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Treatment Implementation: Executes specialized therapy plans designed by the OT, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination.
  
• ADL Training: Teaches patients how to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating, often using adaptive techniques.
  
• Adaptive Equipment: Instructs patients and families on how to use special tools like reachers, mobility aids, or modified kitchen utensils.
  
• Monitoring and Documentation: Records detailed notes on patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns, reporting these findings to the supervising OT to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  
• Education and Support: Provides emotional encouragement to patients and trains caregivers on how to assist with home programs.
  
• Operational Tasks: Prepares treatment areas, cleans equipment, and may handle administrative duties like scheduling and billing.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 years OTA experience in LTC setting is required
  
• TX or compact license is required
  
• DOR experience is preferred
  
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
