Details Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week Uses Epic charting system May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Requirements Active MT or compact RN license required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service Certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date ASN required, BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room specialty required Prior Registered Nurse experience preferred Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care Perform health teaching and health counseling Provide therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to life and well-being, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards Previous permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749434.
