Join the PEPS Business Operations Center as a Resource Management Analyst. You will work with a team in a fast‑paced environment, using a risk‑based approach to support a multi‑billion dollar professional services procurement program. Ideal candidates possess an analytical and critical mindset, strong stewardship, and customer‑service orientation. Responsibilities Monitors budget activities and assists with budget preparation; analyzes human resources, equipment and resource data management; performs budget/resource forecasting and reporting. Analyzes expenditures, revenues, economic trends and process effectiveness to develop and run scenarios for administrative planning. Work requires contact with other governmental officials and is performed independently on assignments. Analyze data trends and create reports or correspondence to explain resource expenditures, economic impacts, or monthly/ad‑hoc reports. Compile data for upcoming fiscal‑year budget requests and/or financial and special reports. Research and analyze legal statutes and historical financial information. Review requests for resource reallocations, evaluate justifications, recommend actions and submit Additional Funding and Budget Requests as needed. Analyze expenditures, revenues, economic trends and process effectiveness to develop and run scenarios for administrative budget planning. Prepare legislative impact statements and Legislative Appropriations Requests. Troubleshoot discrepancies and monitor budgets within area of responsibility. Serve as a lead worker, provide workflow and operational updates to the supervisor/manager, and approve leave requests to ensure operations coverage. Qualifications Experience: Resource Management Analyst I – 1 year of budget analysis and forecasting or related work experience. Resource Management Analyst II – 3 years of budget analysis and forecasting or related work experience. Experience may be satisfied by full‑time or prorated part‑time equivalent. Related graduate‑level education may be substituted for experience on a year‑per‑year basis. Licenses and Certifications Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle. Required Knowledge and Skills Forecasting methodologies. Generally accepted accounting principles, procedures and terminology. Fiscal planning and management practices. Budgeting methods and procedures. Financial management and accounting systems. Performing statistical analysis. Maintaining effective working relationships with others. Preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records, files and reports. Using computers, applicable programs, applications and systems. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Sedentary work: lift up to 10 lbs at a time and occasionally carry files/small tools. Light work: lift up to 20 lbs at a time and frequently lift or carry objects up to 10 lbs. Standing: prolonged periods of time. Repetitive motion: substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
