Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to provide retail pharmacy coverage from September 15 to September 16 in Champaign, Illinois. This role involves working first shift hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM to support daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately entering patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assisting with the dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Managing and ordering over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service by addressing customer needs and concerns.
• Collaborating with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate timely prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is preferred, enhancing efficiency in system operations.

Schedule:

• First shift, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, during September 15-16.
