What You ll Bring to the Role: Proven experience in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, with the ability to manage high-risk deliveries and NICU patient care. Strong clinical skills in neonatal assessment, stabilization, and treatment. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to respond swiftly during high-pressure situations, with a 20-minute response time when on call. Proficiency with Epic EMR systems. Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing inpatient rounds and outpatient clinics seamlessly. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with high-volume NICUs, particularly in Level III or higher facilities. Prior experience attending C-sections and managing high-risk deliveries. Familiarity with Spectra Link phone systems and pager communication tools. Multilingual abilities or additional certifications in neonatal care. Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting, preferably with Level III NICU exposure. Valid medical license and any applicable state or federal certifications. Other Requirements: Availability for approximately one week of additional coverage per month. Willingness to participate in hospital-based outpatient clinics on Thursdays. Ability to attend high-risk deliveries and manage NICU patients effectively. Ability to adhere to hospital policies and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
