The Expeditor II is responsible for expediting and ensuring the continuous supply of materials to production to meet the output, quality, on-time delivery, safety, and housekeeping in the manufacturing line with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols, and corporate policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Work with internal customers to coordinate and Drive Deliveries to meet the production schedule in a fast-paced environment. * Strong understanding of production schedules and production process/sequence. * Able to identify delays to the delivery schedule or production impacts and communicate needs to action owners. * Arranges the disposition of jobs to meet production schedules. * Compiles and reviews production schedules, reports, and status/location to approach jobs in various stages of WIP. * Able to demonstrate to the customer their understanding through words and drawings. * Be able to work with senior management to create and compile day-to-day job-specific information using detailed drawings, customer-supplied specifications, and customer interaction. * Reports any issues with equipment, tooling, resources, or anything that can affect production flow. * Experienced in product, organizing, integration, and control with respect to production delivery schedules. Educational/Certification Requirement: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience Requirement: Work Experience: * 2-3 years related experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * At least a year of purchasing or planning experience.
