Coral Shores Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a beautiful, 80-bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility, which is located in sunny Stuart, Florida. Our professional staff provide high quality, individualized care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each patient's needs and offer a continuum of mental health and addiction services in a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, personal growth, and problem-solving. Coral Shores is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.Position Summary: The IOP Therapist performs clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills, to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. Provides variety of psychotherapeutic services including, family and individual (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric Behavioral Health Center setting.
