We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team at a destination-style Italian restaurant located within Alpine Lake Resort in Terra Alta, West Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen focused on quality, consistency, and exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Work efficiently across multiple stations, including grill, sauté, pasta, and expo.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and presented consistently during service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation, stocking, and kitchen setup before service.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Help maintain inventory and minimize food waste.
• Support opening and closing kitchen procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of line cook experience in a scratch kitchen, upscale casual, Italian restaurant, steakhouse, resort, hotel, or other high-volume restaurant environment.
• Experience working grill, sauté, pasta, expo, or multiple line stations.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to perform well during busy service periods.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Dependable with strong attendance and reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Scratch kitchen cooking
• Grill and sauté experience
• Resort, hotel, or hospitality environments
• High-volume dinner service
• Both prep and line cooking responsibilities
