Details Level III NICU setting on the 2nd floor of the main hospital 7-bed unit with 2:3 patient-to-nurse ratios Uses BCPAP and HFNC equipment Documentation via Meditech and CPN systems 13-week assignment with 7A-7P shift schedule Self-scheduling required Floating as needed No call requirements Requirements Active TX RN license only - temporary licenses will not be accepted Current BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of hospital/specialty experience required Level III NICU experience required Must be able to attend all deliveries including C-sections Meditech experience preferred US SSN and DOB required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Care for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU environment Attend deliveries including C-sections as part of unit responsibilities Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility - no local candidates accepted Royal blue and/or white scrubs required for RN staff Strict grooming policies apply including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines One professional reference required for consideration Team player mentality valued on this unit American Traveler Job ID P-747922.
