Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join a skilled nursing organization in Laconia, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care and supporting clinical teams.

In this role, you will:
•Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department
•Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
•Help coordinate staffing, scheduling, and clinical coverage
•Participate in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of nursing staff
•Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
•Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans and outcomes
•Assist with audits, quality assurance, and infection control initiatives

Qualifications:
•Active RN license required
•Minimum 2+ years of nursing supervisory experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting
•Prior leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, or similar role preferred
•Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
•Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
•Ability to motivate and support a clinical team in a fast-paced environment
