Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Deliver hand therapy and splinting services as a core component of outpatient caseload
- Treat adult and geriatric inpatient populations including orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary diagnoses
- Support home health OT services at the off-site outpatient center on designated days as needed
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management
- Participate in general department orientation including skills checklist completion with an assigned clinician
Required Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- Current BLS certification
- Experience or training in outpatient occupational therapy
- Hand therapy and splinting experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
- Familiarity with JCAHO Stroke certification protocols or early mobility programs
- Experience working with pediatric outpatient populations
