Metallurgical Technician

Job Details Division: Nucor Steel Arkansas Location: Blytheville, AR, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Deadline to apply is 08/31/2026 Basic Job Functions Participate in safety and housekeeping efforts, ensure a safe work environment for themselves and their teammates. Assist in disposition of held, non-conforming material, to include but not limited to dimensional and surface-related nonconformances. Reallocate excess and downgraded inventory in business system. Set up outside processing for rework including requisitions and production records. Lead and support continuous improvement efforts by reducing costs, improving quality/reliability/productivity by understnarding key process indicators through analytical tools, data, and teamwork. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications A minimum of 2 years continuous casting steel sheet mill experience or 3 years of laboratory and quality assurance experience.
