Assembler Position
Assembler needed for a manufacturer in Lancaster, Ohio. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who take pride in detail-oriented work and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom-sized filters, by measuring and cutting
- Inspect, label, and package finished filters to meet shipment standards
- Occasionally perform cold glue assembly and maintain gluing equipment
- Learn filter types and interpret media charts
- Support training of new team members and cross-train across roles
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Follow safety protocols including PPE use and Lockout/Tagout awareness
- Review and apply Best Work Practices (BWPs) relevant to the role
This is a temporary-to-direct, full-time position, hiring immediately. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 3 PM, and Friday, 6 AM to 12 PM. Pay is $18.89 per hour. If hired on direct, this company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic math and measurement skills (read fractions to 1/16 ", use tape measure)
- Ability to read and write English (for reports and work orders)
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working independently or in a team with minimal supervision
- Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 15 lbs throughout the shift
