Sales Consultant III

As an Insight Sales Consultant III, Inbound, you will be responsible for driving growth and protecting revenue by deeply understanding business owners' needs and demonstrating how company's capabilities align with their objectives.

This is an Account Executive-type sales role focused on recommending the optimal solution stack to help customers move their businesses forward. The role will collaborate closely with support partners and internal resources while contributing to growth within the small business and mid-market segment.

Position Details

• Role Type: Account Executive-type / Inbound Sales
• Training: 4 weeks
• Schedule: Candidates should plan for a later shift (in EST)
• Shift Window: Shifts may fall between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST

Compensation

• Base Hourly Rate: $24.86
• Bonus/Commission: Maximum of $1300 per month

Responsibilities

Consultative Sales & Customer Engagement

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing customers' businesses and provide strategic recommendations.
• Understand business owners' needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Recommend solutions that align capabilities with customer business needs.
• Deliver recommendations with a clear focus on ROI and effective use of available tools.
• Position merchant services strategically against customer challenges.

Solution & Product Positioning

• Articulate value propositions across the product Online Ecosystem.
• Demonstrate competitive advantages against major competitors.
• Apply knowledge of merchant services, payments, and financial workflows to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Leverage understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes related to money movement.

Pipeline & Sales Cycle Management

• Manage a sales funnel and maintain a sustainable sales cycle to achieve quarterly targets.
• Manage a large pipeline of prospects through Salesforce.
• Support multiple partners throughout the sales process.
• Efficiently manage account territory and available resources.
• Navigate complex sales processes and drive opportunities through close.
• Measure performance against key metrics, including:
• Quota attainment
• Close rates
• Pipeline velocity

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to influence the buying process.
• Partner with support teams and resources to achieve business objectives and address customer needs.
• Collaborate and influence effectively within a sales team environment.
• Exemplify values and foster an inclusive environment that supports collaboration and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of fintech/payments experience is required.
• 2+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales experience within the merchant services industry is required.
• Experience selling merchant services across multiple industries.
• Ability to strategically position merchant services solutions against customer business challenges.
• Familiarity with merchant services industry standards related to:
• Rates
• Cost analysis
• Risk management
• Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes related to money movement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large pipeline of prospects through Salesforce.
• Experience supporting multiple partners throughout the sales process.
• Experience with sales methodologies such as:
• Challenger
• SPIN
• Solution Selling
• Sandler
• Understanding of the client management lifecycle.
