Those who do not meet the required standards will be enrolled in the Medical Assistant (MA) Trainee Program for further development and reevaluation.Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, clinic, or similar setting is required. This experience must include direct, hands-on patient care in a clinical setting, such as obtaining manual vital signs, documenting patient history and medications, and performing clinical procedures (e.g., EKGs, phlebotomy, administering injections or vaccines).
