We are a growing organization looking for a Remote Help Services Specialist to join our team to provide solid administrative and customer service support for our day to day operations.

This is a terrific opportunity to deal with consumers, retail partners, vendors and internal departments to ensure all queries, requests, orders and administrative chores are handled efficiently and professionally.

Role

The Remote Support Service Specialist is the first contact for customers, retail partners, vendors and internal departments.

The successful applicant will be needed to deliver a high level of customer service, reply to inquiries and requests, maintain accurate records, act as a conduit in transferring information between departments and provide general administrative help to the team.

The selected applicant will be highly organized, reliable, competent to handle a range of responsibilities, customer focused and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Principal Responsibilities

Customer and Partner Services

Communicate via phone, email and electronic messaging with customer, merchant, vendor and corporate contacts.

Answer questions and requests promptly

• General service, product, order, account & shipping assistance

• To provide our consumers and business partners with clear and important informationRefer challenging concerns to the relevant department if necessary.

Give your clients a great professional experience.

Follow up on any unanswered questions and requests to make sure they are addressed

Service Order & Planning

Own end to end client & store inquiries

• Internal exchange of information between consumers, retailers and departments
• Order and service information

• Assist with planning and scheduling of events as needed Work with team members on open requests Log all requests, interactions and resolutions.• Oversee customer service and operational efficiency improvement initiatives

Paperwork Help

Track Customers, Vendors, Goods & Company Properly

• Data Entry & Document Management Business Records Management Records

• Support with reports, spreadsheets and other admin responsibilities

Keep internal systems and documents up to date as necessary Assist in the preparation of business papers, summaries and communications.

Sensitive business consumer and commercial informationEnsure compliance with business policies, norms and data privacy standards

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

1+ years experience in Customer Service, Admin Support, Office Admin, Operations, Retail, Sales Support or equivalent

Excellent communication skills both written and spoken;

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to focus and multitask and handle competing duties

• Knowledge of computer, email, spreadsheets and on-line business tools.

Experience with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office

Fast learner of internal systems and new software

Ability to work from home independently and productively.

Computer with a good, fast internet connection*

Regular telework (defined and adequate work station)

Minimum Requirements

Here’s what does work:

Experience in retail, merchandising, consumer products, greeting cards or distribution.

• Customer Service Experience in Call Center or comparable.

Prior experience with merchant/corporate clients

Experience with CRM or customer service software a bonus but not required.

• Experience with order management and/or inventory systems.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets – vendor, supplier or retail accounts
• Experience working with remote teams

Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
