Job Summary: Deliver personalized, high-quality patient care by developing and implementing nursing care plans while maintaining accurate medical records. Uphold safety principles and escalate patient concerns appropriately. Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and contribute to exceptional customer service, fostering respectful relationships.

Essential Functions: Assess, plan, execute, and document individualized nursing care for patients across all age groups, including newborns and children in emergency and pediatric settings. Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and involving patients and families in discussions about medical issues, testing, medications, and self-care. Monitor patients' physical, mental, and emotional status, reporting changes as needed. Provide direct patient care and support as part of the healthcare team. Mentor and train new staff and students. Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). Demonstrate unit-specific competencies within a reasonable orientation period and ongoing.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills: Apply fundamental nursing principles with effective communication skills. Possess basic computer and keyboarding abilities. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred. Previous nursing experience is advantageous.

Licensure and Certification: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state is mandatory. Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through recognized organizations must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Additional Requirements: For surgical services roles, availability for regular and holiday call is necessary, with specific response times depending on assignment.
