Professional Land Surveyor

FULL TIME / EXPERIENCED Professional Land Surveyor Regional Office: Cape Girardeau, MO Responsibilities Perform and provide control, boundary, topographic, drones, utility, ALTA, Right-of-Way, 3D Laser Scanning, hydrographic, and construction surveying services. Search courthouse records, in-house survey records, road records, and other records relevant to the survey being performed. Perform calculations based on field data, research, and other resources as necessary to determine property boundaries. Prepare topographic / utility survey drawings. Review, sign, and seal plats and other documents for recording and write legal descriptions. Perform construction staking and as-built surveys. Operate survey-related equipment and software. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Assist in the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and invoices. Coordinate with office staff members, clients, and other key stakeholders. Assist, train, direct, and supervise field crew and office staff members. Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain survey equipment. Qualifications Must have Professional Land Surveyor license in Missouri, and / or Illinois. A minimum of two years of survey experience since obtaining licensure is a plus, but not required. Good knowledge of Trimble robotic total station and GPS equipment. Knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D. Knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards. Clear written and verbal communication. Organizing, prioritizing, and performing work assignments with minimal supervision. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Experience Required 5-7+ Years Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $30/hr - $48/hr Competitive salary depending on experience.
