JANITOR (PART TIME)

Overview We have an opening for a part time JANITOR position. Location: GM Garland - 3635 Shiloh, Garland, TX 75041. Note: online applications are accepted only. Schedule: Part time; Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Rotating Fridays, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. More details upon interview. Pay Range: $20.50 per hour to $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs cleaning duties as assigned. Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dusts and damp mops floors; moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement. Cleans assigned areas with the use of applicable materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure. Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for occupants. Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks. Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and local guidelines. Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Prior janitorial experience required. This position may require traveling to the Coppel Site every other Friday.
