Registered Behavior TechnicianRSD17 services students in Haddam and Killingworth, CT. We are conveniently located off Route 9. Benefits Available: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Pension Contribution, Benefit Time.Position Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician employee will work under the direction of certified staff to implement behavior plans and accommodations, collect data, and provide support to promote learning.Essential Functions:Implement Behavior Improvement PlansCollect/record behavioral and instructional dataImplement reinforcement systemsUtilize de-escalation techniquesAssist in activities of daily livingProvide teacher(s), BCBA, and administrators with reports as neededUnderstand underlying principles of applied behavior analysisProvide verbal and non-verbal intervention strategiesMaintain RBT credentialsParticipate in assigned training
