Now Hiring: Director of Business Development – Hospice

 

Territory: East- Mechanicsburg, Pottsville, Bethlehem, Philadelphia

 

Are you a proven sales leader with a passion for driving growth, building relationships, and leading high-performing teams? Advantage Hospice is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to help expand our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality hospice care throughout Pennsylvania. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives on developing partnerships, mentoring teams, and creating innovative growth strategies that make a meaningful impact on patients and families.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of Hospice Account Executives and business development professionals.
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive growth and exceed goals.
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources.
• Identify new market opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Maintain a personal sales portfolio while providing leadership and mentorship to the team.
• Conduct field rides, coaching sessions, and team development activities.
• Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to ensure exceptional service and outcomes.
• Utilize market data and CRM tools to drive performance and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven success in healthcare sales leadership, preferably in hospice or post-acute care.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
