Work Environment

The position is predominantly onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to design and implement personalized therapy programs that focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall physical function.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share progress updates.
• Provide patient education on therapeutic exercises, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously and maintain accurate records according to company policies and state regulations, ensuring compliance and high standards of care.
• Lead and facilitate community health outreach programs to educate local residents about physical therapy options and injury prevention.
• Maintain an organized schedule that includes regular patient visits while ensuring readiness and compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and patient care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumatic injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your experience with outpatient orthopedics and preference for spine surgery will be critical in addressing specific patient needs effectively. You will be tasked with delivering therapy that aligns with our commitment to quality and patient-centered care, ensuring that each patient has a vibrant and supportive recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold an active, unencumbered physical therapist license in the state of Florida, maintained in good standing throughout your employment.
• Current certification in CPR at the time of hire with the ongoing requirement to maintain this certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication for documentation and coordination purposes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, specifically with a focus on post-operative spine care.
• A strong foundation in patient management and rehabilitation techniques relevant to diverse patient needs.
• Knowledge of the legal and ethical standards governing physical therapy practice.
• Ability to make independent clinical decisions when warranted to provide the best patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
