Manufacturing Planner – Electrical SystemsLocation: Mesa, AZ Pay Rate: $45.00/hr Work Environment: Onsite Schedule: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner – Electrical Systems to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Mesa, Arizona.In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and planning documents to ensure manufacturing work instructions accurately reflect engineering requirements. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement planning changes, support manufacturing execution, and maintain compliance with established aerospace manufacturing standards.The ideal candidate has experience supporting aerospace manufacturing programs, interpreting complex engineering documentation, and developing manufacturing planning solutions within a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing PlanningReview and coordinate engineering drawing changes into manufacturing work instructions.Develop and update manufacturing planning to support engineering requirements and production needs.Incorporate engineering changes into existing manufacturing plans and processes.Ensure manufacturing documentation accurately reflects current design and production requirements.Engineering & Technical DocumentationReview and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.Understand and apply critical terminology related to electrical manufacturing and aerospace production.Ensure compliance with engineering design requirements and manufacturing standards.Support implementation of planning updates and process improvements.Production SupportCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to resolve planning-related issues.Support manufacturing execution activities and ensure work instructions align with production requirements.Assist with change management efforts across manufacturing operations.Help drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing planning processes.Required QualificationsExperience reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.Proficiency reading and understanding engineering process and specification documents.Experience developing, maintaining, and updating manufacturing planning documentation.Ability to translate engineering requirements into manufacturing work instructions.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting aerospace or defense manufacturing programs.Knowledge of VC-25B, AH-64, and/or STL programs.Experience using Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESCI).Familiarity with aerospace production systems and manufacturing processes across multiple sites.Experience supporting electrical fabrication and electrical manufacturing operations.Prior experience implementing engineering changes within manufacturing environments.Desired SkillsManufacturing & PlanningManufacturing PlanningProduction PlanningManufacturing Work InstructionsEngineering Change ImplementationProcess PlanningChange ManagementManufacturing ExecutionTechnical DocumentationEngineering DrawingsTechnical SpecificationsProcess DocumentationManufacturing DocumentationConfiguration ManagementRevision ControlAerospace & Electrical SystemsAerospace ManufacturingElectrical FabricationElectrical ManufacturingDefense ProgramsProduction SupportManufacturing OperationsWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is someone who can:Interpret complex engineering drawings and specificationsTranslate engineering requirements into manufacturing-ready instructionsSupport electrical manufacturing operations with accuracy and efficiencyManage multiple planning updates and engineering changes simultaneouslyCollaborate effectively with engineering and production teamsThrive in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environmentAdditional InformationRegular and predictable attendance is required.Position supports aerospace manufacturing operations and production programs.Strong attention to detail and process compliance are critical for success.Opportunity to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams supporting advanced aerospace platforms.
