Accounting Team Lead

Our client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Team Lead to guide cash accounting processes, drive improvements, and partner with stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys mentoring others while maintaining strong operational oversight.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for cash accounting activities
  • Review cash reconciliations and provide guidance on accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate reconciliation variances and communicate findings to leadership
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues
  • Improve processes, controls, and reconciliation workflows
  • Support timely and accurate financial reporting activities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cash accounting initiatives and projects
What You'll Need to be Considered

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Recent experience leading or supervising an accounting team (Annual reviews, KPIs, Metrics)
  • Strong reconciliation and cash accounting expertise!
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
  • Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and account reconciliation processes
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
