Principal AI Engineer - Evinova

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy sophisticated agentic AI solutions using state-of-the-art large language models.
• Develop agent memory, tool-use, multi-agent collaboration, and advanced agent architectures.
• Build NLP systems for retrieval, information extraction, structured generation, and graph reasoning.
• Create automated techniques for agent design, evaluation, optimization, and prompt engineering.
• Develop observability pipelines to monitor model and agent performance continuously.
• Collaborate with product, design, clinical, and ML teams to translate AI capabilities into healthcare solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to organizational AI strategy.
• Share expertise through conferences, technical publications, and open-source projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science.
• At least 4 years of applied machine learning experience focused on deep learning, NLP, and generative AI.
• Extensive experience exploring language-model behavior, prompt engineering, and building products with language models.
• Expert knowledge of Python and advanced ML/LLM frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Google ADK, CrewAI, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including SageMaker, Bedrock, MSK, EKS, ECS, and OpenSearch.
• Deep understanding of agentic AI systems, agentic design patterns, multi-agent systems, and reinforcement learning.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred qualifications include a relevant Ph.D., technical leadership on large-scale AI projects, complex LLM agent development, low-level ML programming with C/C++, Rust, or CUDA, open-source or proprietary AI framework contributions, expertise in few-shot learning, meta-learning, explainable AI, and responsible AI or regulatory practices.
